What IS the BUKOBOMBA?!!!
BukoBomba! is a new kind of atomic bomb...a COCONUT BOMB!
Imagine a falling hand-grenade or an atomic bomb detonating irreversible destruction and poison on lands. BukoBomba! is a different kind of bomb…a creation, a statement, against nuclear destruction dominant in our war-torn society. Created by the artist d.i.y.an, each BukoBomba! is individually handcrafted and blessed with specific special elements. Living plants are housed in a seed, the earth element- the coconut shell. Embossed in different elements, the pervasive use of waves, represent the elements of water, fire, and wind, all cosmically interconnected by a weaving pattern engrained around the coconut shell. Instead of a bomb falling and causing great catastrophic devastation of the earth, when this neo-atomic BukoBomba! is dropped, this coconut bomb defiantly sprouts bountiful positivity, growth, and creation into the earth. The most common BukoBomba! are called La Granada Verde. Sometimes when the BukoBomba! detonates, it creates a mutation of different living creatures, such as the Atomic Peace Belly Dragon and the Atomic Green Scorpion. To contact the artist, or for more information or events about the living art and creation of BukoBomba!, please check out bukobomba.blogspot.com or bukobomba@gmail.com.
